Can I remove the verification file after the initial verifying process or are we required to leave it there?
Yes, feel free to remove this file. It is a one-time verification process.
To make life easier for people we have one verification code for each account. So you can use this file for all your other sites when entering them into SERPGuard.com
For that reason though, we would recommend that you remove the file after verification. As there is a very remote chance that it could be used to identify your ownership of other sites.
